As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with precision and care.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
• Utilize Toast POS system for order processing and inventory management.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies to ensure availability.
• Uphold café standards for quality control in all beverages and food items.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage crafting.
• Proficient in cash handling and retail math for accurate transactions.
• Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for managing cash register operations.
• Previous experience in a café or retail setting is advantageous but not required.
• A willingness to learn about coffee varieties, brewing methods, and food safety practices.
