Best Barber is a queer-owned, gender-neutral grooming salon designed for all people. It is located in Hell's Kitchen NYC and has proudly served our community since 2015. We are seeking enthusiastic, talented professionals eager to join our outstanding team of talent. Our Barbers enjoy a flexible work schedule in a high-demand shop in a clean, supportive, professional environment. Applicants must have a current NYS barber or cosmetologist license, be able to perform a practiced method, and consistently perform with absolute professionalism while maintaining relaxed, positive energy. Most importantly, they must possess a sincere desire to be the best. TYPE: Part-time to Full-time SCHEDULE: Four-day work week of Friday through Monday (Saturday and Sunday are required). COMPENSATION: W-2 Employees receive a commission, plus tips. Paid biweekly by direct deposit. STARTING PAY: The starting base haircut price is $50-$60 based on experience.
