**Job Summary:**
As an Audio Visual Technician (On-Call) in Chicago, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment for various events. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is a plus
- Proven experience as an audio visual technician or similar role
- Proficiency in operating audio and visual equipment, such as microphones, projectors, and sound systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills to address technical issues quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

**Responsibilities:**
- Set up and test audio and visual equipment before events
- Operate equipment during events to ensure quality audio and visual output
- Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during events
- Work closely with event organizers to understand their audio visual needs
- Provide technical support and guidance to event attendees as needed
- Maintain and store audio visual equipment properly after each event
- Stay up to date on the latest audio visual technology and trends in the industry
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while working with audio visual equipment
