Job Description

Pavone Group, home to multiple full-service advertising agencies, is looking for an Associate Creative Director who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and loves the challenge of discovering what makes consumers “click”.

This position will be working specifically our Pavone brands and can be based in either Atlanta, GA or Philadelphia, PA. We offer a hybrid work environment, i.e., 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Inspires and mentors a team of designers, illustrators, and visual storytellers, fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and creative excellence.
  • Develops bold, industry-defining creative concepts across digital, print, video, and experiential media, ensuring our brand stays ahead of trends and disrupts expectations.
  • Like our bulldog mascot, maintains a relentless commitment to delivering world-class creative work —even when faced with challenges.
  • Oversees the artistic direction of campaigns, ensuring that the copy supports the visually compelling executions that align with business objectives and brand identity.
  • Maintains and elevates brand consistency while exploring new visual storytelling methods that reinforce our strong, determined company persona.
  • Translates complex business challenges into breakthrough visual solutions that captivate audiences and drive engagement.
  • Presents and defends creative ideas with confidence and conviction, working closely with account, communications, and leadership teams.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising creative integrity.

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities

  • 7–10 years’ experience in art direction, with a strong track record of award-winning campaigns and fearless creativity.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and elevate a team of creatives while fostering a culture of respect and innovation.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-caliber visual storytelling, concept development, and multi-channel execution.
  • Creative Copywriting Mastery: Strong portfolio showcasing high-caliber creative storytelling, concept development, and multi-channel execution.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects); familiarity with motion graphics, 3D design, and emerging creative tech a plus.
  • Ability to blend big ideas with business strategy, ensuring creative solutions drive measurable impact.
  • Strong ability to articulate and defend creative ideas, rallying stakeholders around a shared vision.
  • Unafraid to challenge the norm, push boundaries, and bring ideas to life despite obstacles—just like our bulldog mascot.
