Assistant General Manager – Kendall, FL

 

This is more than just keeping a restaurant running. We’re looking for an Assistant General Manager who thrives on leading people, shaping culture, and driving results. In this role, you’ll partner with the GM to not only manage daily operations but also influence long-term success in one of South Florida’s most competitive dining markets.

 

What You’ll Do

 

• Lead from the front—coaching, motivating, and developing both managers and hourly staff.
• Take full ownership of financial performance, including P&L management, cost controls, and labor efficiency.
• Ensure every guest leaves impressed by consistently upholding quality, service, and hospitality standards.
• Keep the kitchen and dining room in sync by fostering strong communication between FOH and BOH.
• Drive local marketing and community engagement initiatives that make the restaurant a go-to destination.
• Play a key role in building a culture of accountability, positivity, and growth.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

• A proven leader with management experience in a high-volume or polished casual restaurant.
• Strong operational and financial acumen—you’re just as comfortable with spreadsheets as you are on the floor.
• A motivator who can balance discipline with encouragement, keeping the team aligned and inspired.
• Someone who stays composed under pressure and views challenges as opportunities to improve.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays in a hands-on leadership role.
