Job Description:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
• Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a master's degree.

Security Clearance:

ACTIVE SECRET REQUIRED:

• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

• The client is a technology leader in numerous areas including technology insertion; acoustic sensors; signal processing; guidance; cyber secure; and high reliability systems.

Role and Position Objectives:

• As an Application Specific Integrated Circuit / Field Programmable Gate Array Engineer (Sr. ASIC FPGA Engineer) in the client's Undersea Systems Business Area, you will be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for the design and development of ruggedized electronics equipment for the United States Navy.
• You will directly contribute to the technical and production success of programs through hands-on technical contributions and leadership opportunities.

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

• VHDL / FPGA experience
• Xilinx experience
• Embedded systems experience
• C experience
• Advanced knowledge of electrical and systems design is a bonus.
