Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Art Educator to join our vibrant and creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic art education that inspires and engages students of all ages. Position Highlights:
Teaching Responsibilities: Lead weekly classes in digital art, drawing, painting, and mixed media for students ranging from children to adults (approximately 20+ hours of teaching per week).
Student Success: Track and document student artwork and project outcomes to measure success and ensure continuous growth.
Studio Management: Establish and maintain systems for smooth and efficient studio operations.
Supply Management: Manage art supplies, including ordering, organizing, and inventory, to ensure that each class has the necessary materials within budgetary guidelines.
Digital Lab Maintenance: Oversee the digital lab to ensure up-to-date software, hardware, and educational tools are available for student use.
Budget Reporting: Monitor and report on expenses related to wages and art supplies.
Student Retention & Satisfaction: Track key metrics such as student retention, attendance, make-ups, and satisfaction, and develop strategies to ensure a positive learning experience.
Student & Parent Engagement: Build one-on-one relationships with students and their families, addressing concerns and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Marketing & Outreach: Assist in developing and executing local marketing strategies, including hosting events, forging school partnerships, and raising awareness in the community.
Exhibitions: Identify opportunities to collaborate with local organizations to exhibit student artwork, showcasing the talent of our students and promoting our educational programs.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching art to children, teens, or adults.
A Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art or Art Education from an accredited institution.
Expertise in a wide range of art techniques and mediums.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to network, collaborate, and build relationships with students, staff, and other stakeholders.
