Salary: $20/hour

Opportunity to work with an industry leader providing appliances for new multi-family construction projects. Work includes unloading delivery trucks, moving appliances to residential units, removal and disposal of all packaging materials, place appliances in proper locations, attaching cords/hoses/venting, etc. You will be required to document the work you complete in the day using a phone app that we provide.

This position is for work on a construction job. Safety is essential. You will be required to know OSHA safety requirements on a construction job site. Proper attire and correct PPE must be worn on the job site per OSHA requirements:

• Work pants
• Long sleeved t-shirts
• Reflector vest
• Hard hat
• Protective eye wear and ear protection
• Work boots
• Work gloves to assist with gripping large boxes

Some heavy lifting will be required. You will be expected to perform manual labor. Minimum physical requirements are as follows:

• The ability to lift 25 - 50 pounds 
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
• The ability to safely climb stairs while carrying 40 pounds
• The ability to work in extreme weather
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly throughout the workday

A drug test will be administered.

Job assignments are short term. Hours can be full-time or part-time. We will present you with a job and you tell us if you can commit to the days and hours. If you want to add us to other jobs you may be currently working - that is okay with us. 

If you prefer to be paid as a 1099 contractor, we can do that. If the job is done to our satisfaction in the time required, that's what we care about. However, you will need to provide your own business and workers comp insurance. We would be happy to have you join our team as one of our independent contractors.
