Residents Driving Change

Family and Community Networks

Connecting residents of the community to each other, to businesses and resources, and to the vision of The Village is central to resident ownership of neighborhood change. Sustainable, interconnected networks strengthen the fabric of The Village. They connect existing organizations, open access to systems and services, and learn from residents to see what’s needed. They promote learning, support children in achieving their full potential, and encourage healthy and safe lifestyles.

As unique networks form, diverse partners from inside and outside the community come together to address the complex issues that affect a community. Residents, non-profits, program participants, funders, governmental agencies, and institutions are working collaboratively to solve problems and share resources.
