Kitchens for Good
The Jacobs Center is proud to partner with Kitchens for Good as we evolve our culinary, hospitality, and workforce development offerings in the community.
Kitchens for Good is a social enterprise founded on the idea that kitchens can be drivers for economic and social change for a community, something we couldn’t agree with more. Kitchens for Good operates the 22,000-square-foot kitchen and event space at the Joe & Vi Jacobs Center as well as the full service catering and events company formerly known as True Roots Catering and Jacobs Meetings and Events.
Kitchens for Good does more for the community than serve up delicious meals and design memorable events; they provide culinary and hospitality job training and placement for local residents, create livable wage jobs for graduates of these training programs, and generate revenue that is reinvested into community programs that benefit the Diamond Neighborhoods.
