The Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation, The Aspen Institute Forum for Community Solutions, and Neighborhood Funders Group hosted a national convening on effective practices and new approaches to evaluating place-based initiatives in San Diego, CA on October 5 and 6.
The convening connected evaluators, funders, and community partners who are using evaluation to support positive change in a place in order to:
- Explore metrics, methods, and approaches to place-based initiatives at different stages of development
- Deepen connections with others working in the field
- Encourage an ongoing community of practice
- Inform and share the results of this convening with the field
