Strategies STRATEGY 5 - STRATEGIC SUPPORT At JCNI, we support our partners in bringing together diverse stakeholders, holding ongoing community dialogue, and engaging in ongoing evaluation. We know from our own experience that it is not always easy to know what works and what doesn't. Knowing these challenges, JCNI provides support to community groups in such strategic areas of expertise as action research and evaluation, civic participation, communications, and finance. We also assist residents in linking with other funders who can help them implement the vision they create. To get the work done in the community, JCNI supports residents and funders in advancing their neighborhood-strengthening goals. Our team members provide strategic support to groups inside and outside the community to facilitate the work and create forums for collaborative learning. Strategic support in outreach, advocacy, fundraising, communications, and evaluation helps residents gain insight, mobilize resources to implement change, and design ways to measure results.
