July 13, 2015 – SAN DIEGO — U.S. Rep. John Lewis was back at the convention this year sharing the latest installment in his MARCH comic book series.
Lewis, along with co-author Andrew Aydin and artist Nate Powell, shared a glimpse of the third installment in the series, “MARCH: Book Three,” which covers the Mississippi Freedom Summer and the Selma-Montgomery March.
The congressman also shared his first-hand experiences as a civil rights activist.
After his panel, he led a march through the convention center and ended it with an autograph signing.
